The teaser trailer for Dark Winds Season 4 announces its premiere date in February.
AMC has unveiled the initial teaser trailer for the fourth season of its crime drama, Dark Winds, featuring Zach McClarnon as Lt. Joe Leaphorn, based on Tony Hillerman’s mystery novels.
Scheduled to debut on February 15th, 2026, the upcoming season will center on the quest for a missing Navajo girl, propelling Leaphorn, Chee, and Manuelito from the safe confines of Navajo Nation into the rough landscape of 1970s Los Angeles, racing against time to rescue her from a dangerous killer linked to organized crime.
The cast includes McClarnon as Joe Leaphorn, Kiowa Gordon as Jim Chee, and Jessica Matten as Bernadette Manuelito. New to Dark Winds this season are Franka Potente (The Bourne Identity) as Irene Vaggan, Isabel DeRoy-Olson (Three Pines) as Billie Tsosie, Chaske Spencer (The Twilight Saga) as Sonny, Luke Barnett (Tonic) as FBI Agent Toby Shaw, and Titus Welliver (Bosch) as Dominic McNair, alongside A. Martinez returning as Chief Gordo Sena.
Dark Winds was created by Graham Nolan, with John Wirth as showrunner. The late Robert Redford served as executive producer alongside Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin.
The fourth season of Dark Winds will premiere on February 15th, 2026.
