Rebel Wilson, Jennifer Coolidge, and Nicole Scherzinger form a girl group.

      Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect), Jennifer Coolidge (The White Lotus), and Nicole Scherzinger, singer of The Pussycat Dolls, are set to star in *Girl Group*, a comedy written and directed by Wilson about a band of misfit girls.

      The film will center on Wilson as “a pop diva who has been removed from her own girl group's reunion tour and assigned court-ordered community service, but takes the opportunity to make a comeback by training a group of misfit teenage girls for a significant record label audition.”

      Additional cast members include Randall Park (WandaVision), Sheridan Smith (Gavin & Stacey), Jamie-Lee O'Donnell (Derry Girls), Guz Khan (Man Like Mobeen), Jolene (Star Trek: Enterprise), and Loren Gray (Incoming). The film will also feature various singers and pop stars portraying Wilson's former groupmates from her past band, such as Ashley Roberts from The Pussycat Dolls, Melanie Chisholm from the Spice Girls, and Shaznay Lewis from All Saints as the girl band Girlfriends.

      This film marks Wilson's directorial and screenwriting debut for a feature project. She will produce it through her company Camp Sugar in collaboration with Matt Williams for Future Arts Entertainment, with Live Nation Studios serving as the executive producer.
