Fairy Tail: Dungeons is set to receive a free update and will also be released on Nintendo Switch.

      Kodansha Game Creators’ Lab and ginolabo have announced that Fairy Tail: Dungeons will be available on Nintendo Switch starting 7th January. On that same day, PC players will receive a free content update on Steam. Drawing inspiration from the popular Fairy Tail manga and anime, players will assemble a deck featuring powerful attacks and explore a labyrinthine dungeon filled with treasure and monsters.

      Fairy Tail: Dungeons escorts players into the universe of the acclaimed anime and manga, allowing them to create a team and enhance their collection of magic cards as they venture deeper into the dungeon. These twisting tunnels and room corridors conceal numerous treasures and secrets, but they are also inhabited by a variety of monsters and creatures that will obstruct progress and initiate combat. During battles, players must strategically play their cards in a specific sequence to trigger potent Magic Chains that significantly increase damage. After each dungeon expedition, players can upgrade their cards and skills.

      The forthcoming update for the PC version will introduce five new heroes for players to discover during their dungeon explorations. The new characters—Gajeel, Juvia, Mirajane, Laxus, and Gildarts—will be unlockable through gameplay. Additionally, players can explore new battle strategies, as the update will include over 200 amulets, more than 170 magic cards, and upwards of 100 skills. Furthermore, there will be 50 Labyrinth quests, 30 monsters, and 20 new items added to the game.

      Moreover, PC players can return to the dungeon with the new Special Labyrinth Exploration mode, challenge their skills at higher difficulty levels in the Labyrinth and Abyssal Conquest modes, or enjoy a more relaxed experience focused on the narrative in the new Casual mode. All this fresh content will also bring quality-of-life enhancements, user interface improvements, and alternative control options.

      Nintendo Switch players can experience Fairy Tail: Dungeons on 7th January.
