LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight opens pre-orders alongside a new trailer.
Warner Bros. Games and TT Games’ LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is set to release on May 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). In the meantime, pre-orders for the Standard and Deluxe Editions are now open. The release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 will be revealed later, but it can currently be wishlisted. A new trailer is available below, showcasing some of the playable characters and DC Super-Villains that players will encounter.
Next May, players will team up with the Caped Crusader and his allies to protect Gotham City. Take on the role of Batman, Robin, Nightwing with his Battle Staff, Batgirl with her Hackarang, Catwoman with her faithful feline friend, Jim Gordon, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul, utilizing their unique abilities, combos, and gadgets to confront the villains.
In this upcoming LEGO Batman title, players will go up against DC Super-Villains such as Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Firefly, Ra’s al Ghul, and Mr. Freeze, alongside well-known adversaries like The Joker, The Penguin, and Bane.
Players will have a vast array of outfits to select for each playable character, featuring various Batsuits inspired by Batman movies, comics, TV shows, and games. Additionally, there will be over 20 distinct vehicles available, including the iconic Tumbler. The trailer also offers a glimpse of the Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series and the Batpod from The Dark Knight films.
Pre-orders for the Standard Edition will include The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit (available at launch), inspired by the comic series, while pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition will grant 72-hour early access to the game as well as The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit.
The Deluxe Edition will also feature the Legacy Collection at launch, consisting of multiple themed content packs, along with the Mayhem Collection set to release in September 2026, which will introduce a new mode with additional playable characters, a new story mission, new outfits, and much more.
