This week's new issues of Commando will deliver excitement and adventure.

Commando comics have always been brimming with excitement as courageous soldiers confront daunting challenges, and even more thrilling adventures are set to arrive on December 18th with four action-packed issues.

Kicking off is issue 5915 (Home of Heroes): Crocker’s Crew, penned by Brent Towns and illustrated by Paolo Ongaro. In this edition, Captain Matt Crocker of the British Commandos and his squad are tasked with infiltrating and destroying a power plant occupied by the Nazis. However, they are caught off guard when the SOE's enigmatic Captain Berry insists on joining their mission, raising concerns for Crocker about potential hidden agendas.

Next is issue 5916 (Gold): Mighty Maguire, a classic tale originally published in 1971. Written by Richardson and featuring artwork by Franch, this story centers on Tom Maguire, an enthusiastic collector of just about anything. When war breaks out, Tom is deployed to Burma, where he continues his collecting habit by gathering the fierce Kachin tribesmen. The Japanese forces won’t be prepared for what’s coming.

In issue 5917 (For Action and Adventure): Union Jack Jackson: Kamikaze Ken, Union Jack Jackson and his team are on a quest to steal an experimental radar receiver from the Japanese. But when their escape vessel is obliterated by Japanese kamikaze pilots, Jackson begins to question why one of these suicidal pilots is mysteriously floating beside him, unharmed. This chapter is written by Dominic Teague, with art by Esteve Polls.

Lastly, in issue 5918 (Silver): The Short and The Tall, Private Danny Miller is among the shorter soldiers but tough as nails, capable of handling nearly anything. What he struggles to manage, however, is his friend Brian, who is determined to repay Danny for saving his life, leading to more complications as Brian’s plans often create chaos. The Short and The Tall was first released in 1984 as issue 1848, written by Motton and illustrated by Gordon C Livingstone.
