In anticipation of its theatrical debut this February, Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled a new poster and trailer for writer-director Bart Layton’s adaptation of Don Winslow’s celebrated novella, Crime 101.

This crime thriller centers on the elusive thief Davis (Chris Hemsworth), who partners with disenchanted insurance broker Sharon (Halle Berry) to execute one final high-stakes robbery, aiming to escape with the score of a lifetime before the persistent detective Lou (Mark Ruffalo) can catch him.

Alongside Hemsworth, Berry, and Ruffalo, the cast includes Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte.

Set against the sun-drenched backdrop of Los Angeles, Crime 101 narrates the story of a mystifying thief (Chris Hemsworth) whose daring heists along the illustrious 101 freeway have baffled law enforcement. When he aims for the ultimate score, believing it to be his last job, he intersects with a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry) at a pivotal moment in her life, prompting both to work together. Meanwhile, a relentless detective (Mark Ruffalo) intensifies his pursuit of the case, heightening the stakes. As the multimillion-dollar heist looms closer, the boundary between pursuer and prey begins to blur, compelling all three characters to face the repercussions of their decisions and the realization that there is no way back.

Crime 101 will hit theaters on February 13th.
