Cronin, who gained recognition for 2023's Evil Dead Rise, is collaborating with producers James Wan, Jason Blum, and John Keville to deliver what is described as an “audacious and twisted retelling.”

Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the film worldwide, exclusively in theaters and IMAX in North America on April 17, 2026, and internationally starting April 15, 2026.
