Love Triumphs Over Death in First Trailer for Grace Glowicki’s Dead Lover

      A recognized figure in the indie film scene with appearances in Strawberry Mansion, Booger, The Heirloom, Measures for a Funeral, Honey Bunch, and more, Canadian actress and filmmaker Grace Glowicki's second directorial feature, Dead Lover, is set to be released this spring after a festival circuit that includes Sundance, TIFF, IFFR, SXSW, and others. In advance of its March 20 release at NYC’s IFC Center, Cartuna x DWECK have unveiled the new trailer and poster.

      Here’s the synopsis: “A lonely Gravedigger, whose presence is marked by the smell of corpses, finally encounters her ideal partner, but their passionate relationship is abruptly ended when he tragically drowns at sea. Overwhelmed with grief, she takes extreme measures to bring him back to life through eccentric scientific experiments, resulting in dire consequences and unexpected love.”
