Titan Comics has unveiled the graphic novel adaptation of Highlander: The Original Screenplay.
Titan Comics has revealed the forthcoming release of Highlander: The Original Screenplay, a brand-new graphic novel adaptation of writer Gregory Widen’s original script for the cult classic 1986 action-fantasy film Highlander.
“I’ve been a fan of Highlander since what feels like forever, so it’s truly exciting to bring this story back as it was initially envisioned by its creator, Gregory Widen,” stated Jonathan Wilkins, editor of Highlander: The Original Screenplay. “For the first time, readers will experience this epic adventure set across the centuries. It has been a genuine thrill collaborating with Gregory to uncover the different paths his story took before filming started. Prepare to journey through the blood-soaked highlands of the mid-1500s and the gritty streets of 1980s New York for a spectacular retelling of an immortal tale!”
Illustrated by Szymon Kudranski, Highlander: The Original Screenplay aims to showcase “the immortal saga of Connor MacLeod as it was first envisioned—long before it became a beloved cinematic classic. Spanning centuries, featuring epic battles and deep rivalries, Highlander: The Original Screenplay chronicles Connor’s journey through time as he confronts other immortals in a deadly competition for a mysterious ultimate prize. Returning to the story’s origins, this graphic novel provides fans with a rare opportunity to fully experience Widen’s original narrative vision, capturing the mythic scale, tragic romance, and dramatic violence that made Highlander a cultural phenomenon.”

Highlander: The Original Screenplay is scheduled to be released on November 17th, 2026.
