Terror Films has released a trailer for Saturnalia, the forthcoming horror film directed and written by Daniel John Lerch.
Paying tribute to the giallo films of the 1970s, the story follows a young woman who is sent to a renowned academy after her parents’ tragic death, where she starts to suspect that the institution and its harsh headmistress are hiding a much darker secret.
The cast features Sophia Anthony, Velvet, Dante Blake, Amariah Dionne, Maddie Siepe, Morgan Messina, and Brian Landis. Check out the trailer below.
Set in 1979, the film follows Miriam Basconi as she is sent to the esteemed Alstroemerias Academy after the mysterious passing of her parents. Faced with a ruthless headmistress and vanishing students, Miriam must uncover the truth behind the eerie happenings and begins to reveal a bizarre world lurking within the academy’s walls.
Saturnalia is scheduled for release on April 24th.
