McFarlane Toys reveals the DC Multiverse 2-pack featuring Superman and Mongul.

      McFarlane Toys has announced the release of the DC Multiverse Superman vs. Mongul action figure 2-pack based on The Return of Superman. This collectible set is now available for pre-order at a price of $79.99; you can view the promotional images here.

      In addition, McFarlane has revealed action figures of Supergirl, Shazam!, and Vigilante from the DC Multiverse.

      Kal-El, sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, was discovered by farmers Martha and Jonathan Kent, who raised him as their son, Clark. As he matured, the yellow sun's radiation granted him incredible abilities, which he kept under wraps. Now an adult, he uses his powers to safeguard his adopted planet as Superman. However, after years of heroic deeds, Superman is thought to be missing and presumed dead. In reality, he is imprisoned on Warworld by the new Mongul, where he is forced to fight for survival in an arena and is stripped of his powers, leaving him to find a way back home.
