Adam Sandler will star in Scott Cooper's upcoming Netflix drama, Time Out.
Following Happy Gilmore 2 and Jay Kelly, Adam Sandler has secured his next project with Netflix, a psychological drama titled Time Out, directed by Scott Cooper.
In this film, the director of Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere has cast Sandler as a character named Vincent, who has recently lost his job and is struggling to hide the truth from his family. As Vincent tries to navigate an increasingly complex web of lies to protect his loved ones, he begins to confront profound questions that extend beyond his own circumstances. What kinds of lies do we tell those we care about? How do we rationalize them? And what inevitably occurs when they uncover the truth?
Time Out, which is written, directed, and produced by Cooper (Hostiles), is adapted from the French film L’Emploi du temps by Laurent Cantet and Robin Campillo. The film boasts a strong supporting cast that includes Willem Dafoe (Werwulf), Gaby Hoffmann (C’mon C’mon), F. Murray Abraham (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Steve Zahn (Anaconda), and Adam Horovitz (Golden Exits).
As of now, there is no information available regarding the release date for Time Out.
