Lionsgate has unveiled a poster and trailer for Kenji Tanigaki's upcoming action thriller, The Furious.
The film centers on a desperate father on a mission to rescue his kidnapped daughter, who collaborates with a journalist searching for his missing wife. Lacking support from the corrupt authorities, they embark on their own quest for justice, aggressively confronting the criminal organization behind the abduction.

After Wang Wei's (Xie Miao) daughter is taken by a criminal syndicate and he receives no assistance from the corrupt police, Wei embarks on a vengeful journey to find her himself. His sole companion is Navin (Joe Taslim), an unyielding journalist with a mysteriously vanished wife. Driven by intense rage, this unlikely pair battles the kidnappers in a thrilling martial arts confrontation.
The Furious is scheduled for release on May 29th.
