IFC Films and Shudder have released a new trailer for their upcoming meta-reboot of the notorious video nasty Faces of Death, accompanied by a series of character posters featuring cast members Barbie Ferreira, Dacre Montgomery, Josie Totah, Charli XCX, and Aaron Holliday, warning viewers of “sensitive content” ahead; take a look below…
In FACES OF DEATH, the journey through the original film’s infamous “is it real or not?” concept continues as a woman (Ferreira), employed as a content moderator for a prominent video platform, uncovers what seems to be re-enactments of the murders depicted in the original film. In an online environment where nothing is reliable, she must ascertain whether the violence is fictional or actually occurring in real time. Faces of Death hits theaters on April 10th.
