The tongue-in-cheek found footage horror film Strawstalker has released its trailer and poster.
Dark Atlantic Studios has released the initial trailer and poster for writer-director George Henry Horton’s campy found footage horror film, Strawstalker.
The story centers on content creators Henry and Haley, who relocate to a supposedly safe neighborhood in Los Angeles, documenting every aspect of their move. However, their ideal life quickly turns into a nightmare when a supernatural scarecrow appears in their backyard. Watch the trailer below…
Henry and Haley are an up-and-coming couple in the content creation world, having just settled into Oak Bridge, a Los Angeles area touted as the safest place to live. They're eager to capture every 'spontaneous' moment of their new life, oblivious to the fact that Oak Bridge has no intention of contributing to their brand. In this community, silence is deliberate, and perfection is merely an act. When a dramatic scarecrow appears behind their backyard hedge, Henry—who leads a life built on deception—mistakenly believes it to be a viral prank. Haley, the 'true' heart of the duo who often indulges Henry’s whims, keeps the camera rolling. Then the footage takes a turn. A local cautions them that the creature preys on those who are not genuine. In Oak Bridge, the land has a long memory, the neighbors watch closely, and the camera never stops recording.
Stay tuned for Strawstalker, coming soon.
