A new teaser trailer has been released online for Netflix’s forthcoming comedy series, The Hawk.
Will Ferrell stars as Lonnie Hawkins, a golfer who is trying to regain the glory of his 2004 title as the top golfer. Determined to revive his career, he aims to achieve the greatest comeback in golf history while competing for a spot on the PGA Tour.
Alongside Ferrell, the cast includes Molly Shannon, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver, and David Hornsby. Take a look at the trailer below...
Lonnie Hawkins (Will Ferrell), the number one golfer of 2004, faces challenges in the latter part of his career as he attempts to rediscover his former brilliance. His body may suggest it’s time to retire, but his heart insists he still has more to give. His ex-wife and son Lance, the new star of golf, believe he’s reached the end. However, with one more major championship needed to achieve golf’s Grand Slam, Lonnie maintains that he is just one stroke away from the greatest comeback in golf history.
The Hawk premieres on Netflix on July 16th.
