Following Matt Johnson’s drama Tony about Anthony Bourdain, A24’s next release is another unique biopic, this time focusing on Chris Hansen from To Catch a Predator. In Primetime, Robert Pattinson stars as the television host and investigative journalist under the direction of Lance Oppenheim, marking Oppenheim's narrative feature debut after Some Kind of Heaven and Spermworld. As the fall release approaches, the first teaser and poster have been unveiled.

It will be interesting to see Oppenheim’s perspective after David Osit’s impressive documentary Predators, which delved into the show's creation, ethical dilemmas, and its imitators. This certainly adds another exciting role to Pattinson's notable year, which includes The Drama, The Odyssey, Dune: Part Three, and potentially, Here Comes the Flood, if completed in time.

Here’s a brief synopsis: “In 2006, To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen aims to make television history.”

Check out the trailer and poster below for the film, which also features Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, and Phoebe Bridgers.
