This November, Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor confronts the Sycorax in a new Doctor Who adventure.

      This November, Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor will confront familiar foes alongside new companions in Doctor Who: The Eighth Doctor Adventures – New Pathways, a full-cast audio drama box set from Big Finish Productions. This new six-part audio drama miniseries, divided into two box sets, sees the Doctor and his latest companions facing the Sycorax.

      Fans have previously witnessed the Doctor's battles against the Sycorax, first in the 2005 Doctor Who TV special The Christmas Invasion, and again in a 2016 Classic Doctors, New Monsters audio episode featuring the Seventh Doctor. Now, the Eighth Doctor, along with his devoted companion Alfie Steep (Sam Stafford) and newcomer Chase Moyo (Natalie Gumede), will aim to thwart the Sycorax’s schemes in late twenty-first century Britain.

      New Pathways comprises three thrilling stories:

      - **Chase by Alan Ronald** – Chase is stuck in a soul-draining call centre job, but her life takes a turn when she accidentally connects to a mysterious police box and the Doctor.

      - **Magic of the Sycorax by Katharine Armitage** – Chase’s inaugural journey in the TARDIS transports her to a remote mining outpost under siege by formidable and hostile forces. While the Doctor has previously defeated the Sycorax, this time they wield greater magical powers, command deeper darkness, and present more at stake for the TARDIS crew.

      - **Blast from the Past by Robert Valentine** – During one of the TARDIS's playful escapades, the time travelers land in Burnley in 2096. To their dismay, they find the UK has succumbed to an authoritarian regime led by fascist leader Bastian Clore. As history has taken a wrong turn, is there something more malicious than Clore's propaganda at play? Meanwhile, Chase uncovers that her descendants are involved in an underground movement aimed at dismantling Clore’s regime.

      Additionally, this box set features a new, full-length audio documentary commemorating thirty years of Paul McGann’s Doctor.
