      With less than two weeks remaining until Slashercise premieres exclusively on BloodStream, a teaser trailer for the horror film has been released online.

      Characterized as a “blood-soaked love letter to 1980s workout videos and slasher films,” the story follows a group of fitness enthusiasts who find themselves ensnared in a deadly nightmare when their aerobics sessions morph into a battle for survival.

      Written and directed by Ama Lea (Deathcember), the cast features Vanessa Decker (Terrifier 2), John Bloom (The Hills Have Eyes), Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills Presents: Welcome to Horrorwood), Sarah French (Blind), Kelli Maroney (Night of the Comet), Sarah Nicklin (The Black Mass), Diana Prince (The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs), Jared Rivet (The Once and Future Smash), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Tiffany Shepis (Victor Crowley), and Lisa Wilcox (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master).       SLASHERCISE transforms classic workout culture into a surreal and violent journey of obsession and survival. The film merges slasher brutality with stylized dark humor and a neon-infused ambiance, centering on a group of fitness enthusiasts trapped in a spiraling nightmare of self-betterment and aerobics.

      Slashercise will be available on BloodStream starting July 1st.
