Universal Pictures and Blumhouse have released the initial trailer for SOULM8TE, an upcoming erotic thriller set within the M3GAN universe. The film follows a mourning engineer assigned to evaluate a new AI android. As he tries to program her to provide a genuine human experience, she begins to form her own desires, resulting in a dangerous obsession.
Directed by Kate Dolan, the film stars Lily Sullivan, David Rysdahl, Claudia Doumit, and Arty Froushan. You can watch the trailer below…
Unsettling, alluring, suspenseful, and darkly intriguing, SOULM8TE centers on a grieving engineer hired to test a ruthless tech company’s latest artificial intelligence android. However, as he tries to program her to be a truly sentient soulmate, she develops her own desires, leading to a wave of meticulously orchestrated chaos.
Soulm8ate will be available digitally on August 1st.
