      In anticipation of its theatrical debut later this month, Aura Entertainment has unveiled a poster and trailer for the survival action thriller Above & Below.

      The film narrates the story of a group of friends enjoying an idyllic vacation in Mexico, which takes a terrifying turn when they encounter a cartel and are compelled to descend to the ocean floor in a shark cage to recover a cocaine shipment. They soon find themselves battling a decreasing air supply and a ferocious Great White shark.

      Directed by Jesse V. Johnson, the cast features Laura Marano, Antonio Banderas, Christina Ochoa, Diego Llinás, Timothy V. Murphy, and Louis Mandylor. Watch the trailer below…

      “While on a shark diving expedition in Mexico, five friends are attacked after coming across cartel cocaine. Trapped in a shark cage, Tatiana and Kaley are coerced by the cartel into retrieving a bag of drugs from the ocean floor. As they confront fearsome Great White sharks, diminishing air, and armed assailants, the survivors engage in a fierce struggle to outwit their captors and escape.”

      Above & Below is set to hit theaters on July 29th.
