McFarlane reveals new DC Multiverse figures featuring Sinestro, Brainiac, Black Adam, Black Mask, Sentinel, and Kid Flash.
McFarlane Toys has released promotional images for its upcoming series of DC Multiverse action figures, now available for pre-order. This wave features Sinestro (Classic Uniform), Kid Flash (DC Classic), Brainiac (DC Classic), Black Adam (Modern Age), along with Red Platinum Edition figures for Sentinel (Green Lantern) and Black Mask (DC Classic). Originating from the planet Korugar, Sinestro previously served as the Green Lantern of Sector 1417, quickly earning recognition within the Corps for effectively managing his sector. However, maintaining peace came at a cost. Sinestro's commitment to order led him to act more like a dictator than a protector. It was only when new recruit Hal Jordan discovered Sinestro's methods that the Guardians were notified, resulting in Sinestro's expulsion from the Corps. Firm in his belief of moral superiority and his methods of enforcing order, Sinestro established the Sinestro Corps, utilizing the yellow energy of fear to challenge the Guardians, whom he views as the primary barrier to intergalactic peace, while also fortifying the Green Lantern Corps.
