The Walking Dead: Aftermath introduces undead roguelite gameplay for mobile devices.

      Ares Interactive and AMC Global Media have launched the much-anticipated The Walking Dead: Aftermath on Google Play and the App Store. This game is the first free-to-play roguelite set in The Walking Dead universe, offering players thrilling real-time combat combined with tough decision-making. A new trailer showcasing the gameplay can be viewed below.

      The Walking Dead: Aftermath immerses players in the post-apocalyptic setting of the popular franchise, allowing them to embody iconic survivors such as Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and others. Players must evade relentless hordes of walkers and rival factions, being cautious not to make mistakes in a life-or-death environment.

      In each session, players can enhance their character by choosing from three random abilities to make combat slightly more manageable. After the battles, they can return to their base to upgrade and reinforce it by constructing watchtowers, improving workshops and farms, and assigning survivors to specific roles to enhance productivity.

      Players can embark on scavenging missions to gather resources like lumber or continue the main campaign to experience the gripping narrative. With regular content updates, limited-time events, and more, the game world will evolve, presenting additional challenges for players.

      There is also the option to create or join an Alliance, collaborating with others to defend camps or compete against rival groups for valuable rewards and to aim for leaderboard supremacy.
