John Connor registers at Riverdale High for the crossover event of Archie vs. The Terminator.
Archie Andrews and his friends are about to embark on their latest crossover adventure as The Terminator targets Riverdale High's newest student, teenage John Connor, in a limited five-issue series titled Archie vs. The Terminator, brought to you by Dynamite Entertainment and Archie Comics.
“Archie crossovers hold a unique significance in comics, so I’m excited to write the gang’s first (and possibly last?!) encounter with The Terminator,” shared writer Rory McConville. “Having John Connor enroll at Riverdale High felt like an ideal way to merge these two legendary franchises, and I can't wait for readers to experience what we've created.”
“When I received the invitation to illustrate the Archie vs. The Terminator mini-series, I was both honored and thrilled,” said artist Steven Butler. “I’ve always enjoyed the Archie stories where the characters find themselves in overwhelming situations that they must navigate, and this mini-series allows us to tell that kind of tale that I really love! The cherry on top is that I get to collaborate with my daughter Lily on this project — what more could a proud dad wish for?”
“This project marks my debut with Dynamite and my first full miniseries experience,” added artist Lily Butler. “I’m really excited to work on familiar characters like the Archie gang, along with others who are new to me. I believe we are creating something really exciting, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it!”
Archie vs. The Terminator is set to debut this October.
