The trailer for Batman: Knightfall Part 1 reveals a summer release date.

      DC has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming animated film, Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, which adapts the legendary story of Bane's introduction as part of a trilogy. The film is set for digital release in late August, followed by a 4K and Blu-ray release in September. You can watch the trailer below.

      The Knightfall trilogy draws from the classic 90s storyline in which Bruce Wayne is pushed to his mental and physical limits by Bane, a clever and formidable foe who uses the super steroid Venom to attain extraordinary strength. Their confrontation results in a rare setback for Batman, as Bane manages to break his back, compelling Bruce to appoint a successor as Batman while he recovers.

      The first installment of the trilogy carries the title Knightfall, with the subsequent parts likely named Knightquest and Knightsend, reflecting the titles of the graphic novel collections. Part 1 will cover the initial act of Bane's introduction, showcasing his release of the villains from Arkham Asylum to weaken Batman prior to their clash at Wayne Manor.

      Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall features Anson Mount (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Mando (Spider-Man: Brand New Day) as Bane, and Pablo Schreiber (His & Hers) as Jean-Paul Valley/Azrael. The film is helmed by director Jeff Wamester (Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Trilogy) and scripted by Jeremy Adams (Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons). Rick Morales is the Supervising Producer, with Jim Krieg and Kimberly S. Moreau serving as Producers. Sam Register and Michael Uslan are the Executive Producers.

      Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall will be available digitally on August 25th, with the 4K and Blu-ray editions arriving on September 8th. Knightfall: Part 2 is anticipated for late 2026, followed by Knightfall: Part 3 in early 2027.
