Dynamite Entertainment presents a crossover series featuring Red Sonja and Barbarella.

Dynamite Entertainment has revealed that the She-Devil with the Sword and the Siren of the Spaceways will meet for the first time this November in the limited series comic book crossover Red Sonja / Barbarella, written by Homero Rios and illustrated by Diego Yapur.

“Writing together for Red Sonja and Barbarella has been an exciting experience because they are both iconic, fearless figures that are larger than life,” Rios stated, who has previously worked on Heavy Metal and Metal Hurlant. “From the outset, our aim was to create a crossover that feels thrilling and befitting of both legends. It’s definitely going to be quite the adventure.”

The She-Devil with a Sword and the Siren of the Spaceways hail from vastly different worlds. However, one enigma will unexpectedly intertwine their destinies. Barbarella, with her beloved exuberance, is on a quest for a mysterious black mirror connected to her past, a relic that may unlock memories of a life she scarcely recalls. Meanwhile, far away under a crimson sky, Red Sonja bravely rides into peril to save an Oracle whose grim fate appears predetermined by prophecy. Neither of these bold women is aware of the other’s existence, nor do they comprehend the forces bringing them together. This new adventure merges science fiction with swords and sorcery. Themes of memory, fate, desire, and survival weigh heavily, with some debts requiring blood as payment!
