A witch hunt is on the horizon with the release of the trailer for the supernatural mystery series Yaga.

      During San Diego Comic-Con, AMC+ unveiled the initial trailer for Yaga, an upcoming mystery thriller series inspired by Kat Sandler’s 2019 play of the same name, which draws from the Slavic folklore tale of Baba Yaga.

      Noah Reid plays a private investigator who gets drawn into a realm of mysterious suspects, hidden lives, and ancient sorcery while investigating the vanishing of a young heir in a small coastal town.

      Joining Reid in the ensemble are Carrie-Anne Moss, Hudson William, Clark Backo, Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Ezra Franky, Patrick Gilmore, Katharine Isabelle, Hiro Kanagawa, Emilija Baranac, Georgia Acken, Anisa Harris, and Sam Krochmal. The trailer can be viewed below…

      YAGA follows Rapp (Noah Reid, Schitt’s Creek, The Vampire Lestat), a private investigator who travels to a quaint coastal town to look into the disappearance of Henry Park (Hudson Williams, Heated Rivalry), the young heir to a powerful fishery. He finds himself clashing with a wary local detective, Carson (Clark Backo, Venom: The Last Dance, Letterkenny), a charming university professor with a penchant for younger men, Katherine (Carrie-Anne Moss, Matrix Films, Memento), and a maze of cryptic suspects, hidden lives, and ancient enchantments.

      Yaga is set to premiere on AMC+ this October.
