At San Diego Comic-Con today, Apple TV unveiled the first trailer for "Matchbox The Movie," a forthcoming action-adventure comedy inspired by Mattel's famous toy car brand.
Directed by Sam Hargrave, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast that includes John Cena, Jessica Biel, Arturo Castro, Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris, Danai Gurira, Golshifteh Farahani, Corey Stoll, and Bill Camp. Check out the trailer below…
“Matchbox The Movie” follows a thrilling, globetrotting escapade involving a group of childhood friends whose lives are disrupted when Sean (John Cena), their long-lost former leader and an undercover CIA agent, unexpectedly returns to their quaint town, drawing them into a frantic international race to save the world.
The film is set to premiere on Apple TV on October 9th.
