      Following the debut of Doctor Doom at this past weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con International, Hot Toys has released a series of promotional images for another of its sixth scale figures from Avengers: Doomsday, featuring Scott Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops, as portrayed by the returning X-Men actor James Marsden in the upcoming Marvel Studios superhero film; check out the official promotional images here…

      The tactical leader of the X-Men has traversed the multiverse! Making his significant comeback in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Avengers: Doomsday, Scott Summers — the legendary Cyclops — enters the ultimate battlefield to confront Doctor Doom. Reprised by James Marsden in his iconic outfit, he is prepared to unleash his powerful ruby-quartz optic blasts!

      Today, Hot Toys is excited to reveal the 1/6th scale Cyclops Collectible Figure! Expertly crafted based on James Marsden's appearance in Avengers: Doomsday, this figure features a newly developed, screen-accurate head sculpt with LED light-up functionality in his eyes, along with a perfectly recreated signature visor. To truly display his formidable mutant abilities, it includes an array of interchangeable visors featuring vibrant, red translucent effects of optic blasts in various dynamic poses, allowing collectors to replicate his most iconic battle stances effortlessly.

      Cyclops' iconic uniform has been faithfully recreated, featuring a tailored tactical top paired with cargo pants, a weathered yellow asymmetrical chest harness highlighted by a striking circular X-logo emblem, a utility belt, weathered thigh straps, and combat boots designed to give the X-Men leader a commanding presence on any display shelf. The figure comes with a specially designed stand featuring the movie logo. A Special Edition available in selected markets will exclusively include a life-size commemorative metal ring.

To vividly represent his mutant powers, the figure comes with an assortment of interchangeable visors featuring vibrant, red translucent effects of optic blasts in various dynamic forms, allowing collectors to recreate his most iconic battle poses.
