UK artwork for Death Among the Pines unveiled prior to September launch

      As we move into post-production on the upcoming reboot of the Robert the Doll franchise, titled Robert Returns, Flickering Myth and Shepka Productions are excited to announce the UK release of our suspense thriller, Death Among the Pines, on VOD/streaming platforms this September, thanks to High Fliers Films.

      Death Among the Pines, our second feature film following the gothic horror The Baby in the Basket, is directed by Nathan Shepka (Dead Before They Wake) and written by experienced FM writer Tom Jolliffe (Cinderella’s Revenge). The film features a talented cast, including Nicolette McKeown (Mercy Falls, Damaged), Stephen Kerr (The Reign of Queen Ginnarra, Spoiling You), and Olly Bassi (Dick Dynamite: 1944, Masters of the Air).       On a stormy night, a stranger knocks on Angela's country cottage door, claiming his car has broken down and looking for shelter. Angela admits him cautiously, but soon after, a police officer arrives, questioning her while searching for an escaped convict. Angela starts to piece things together, but is there more to the situation than it seems?

      Death Among the Pines will be released in the UK on September 7th, 2026, and is currently available for streaming in the US on Tubi.
