      Neon has released the first trailer for Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, the third installment in the action thriller franchise that began with 1992’s Bad Lieutenant and continued with 2009’s Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans.

      Directed by the renowned Japanese filmmaker Takashi Miike, the film follows a disgraced detective from Tokyo who collaborates with an FBI agent to penetrate the criminal underworld in pursuit of a missing daughter of a U.S. politician.

      The cast features Shun Oguri, Lily James, Shotaro Mamiya, Liv Morgan, Jun Kunimura, and Hiroshi Tachi. Check out the trailer below.

      A disgraced Tokyo detective descends into a realm of corruption, addiction, and violence as he becomes embroiled in a complex investigation involving a vengeful ex-Yakuza, a mysterious FBI agent, and the missing daughter of a powerful American family.
