The Mummy 4 features a mix of returning cast members and new additions.

      As directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett prepare for the production of their film, information is emerging about the supporting cast who will join the returning trio of Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, and John Hannah in the fourth installment of Universal Pictures’ action-adventure series The Mummy.

      According to Deadline, Michael Johnston (Obsession) and Numan Acar (Young Sherlock) have been cast in undisclosed roles, while Kevin J. O’Connor will reprise his character, Beni Gabor, from the original 1999 film, alongside Oded Fehr, who returns as Ardeth Bay from the first two movies.

      Additionally, John Hannah has revealed that Imhotep will make his return, stating in an interview with Italian magazine CiaK (via Dark Horizons) that “Arnold Vosloo, a very good friend of mine, will also be back; he is currently finalizing the agreement from Cape Town, where he lives.”

      While plot details for the upcoming Mummy film are still being kept secret, it is anticipated that the story will continue directly from 2001’s The Mummy Returns, disregarding the events of the 2008 sequel The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, which featured Maria Bello taking over Rachel Weisz's role as Evelyn. Production is expected to commence this month, aiming for a release in October 2027.
