      Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the official trailer for Verity, their star-studded adaptation of the globally acclaimed novel by Colleen Hoover, author of It Ends With Us.

      Directed by Michael Showalter (The Idea of You) and featuring a script by Nick Antosca (Cape Fear) along with Colleen Hoover, Verity is a psychological thriller that centers on a struggling writer who is brought in to ghost-write a series for a best-selling author who has been injured. During her stay at the author’s residence, she stumbles upon a terrifying manuscript and must choose whether to reveal the truth.

      The film stars Anne Hathaway (The End of Oak Street), Josh Hartnett (Trap), and Dakota Johnson (Madame Web). You can check out the new poster and trailer below.

      This adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel is a gripping psychological thriller that follows the renowned author Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway) and Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson), a writer in need of work who moves to the secluded Crawford estate to ghostwrite for Verity. As Lowen discovers what seem to be Verity’s unsettling autobiographical notes, she grapples with disturbing revelations about Verity’s husband Jeremy (Josh Hartnett) and struggles to distinguish between fiction and reality, manipulation and attraction, as well as opportunity and obsession.
