Apple TV has released a trailer for "Brothers," the forthcoming comedy series featuring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as fictionalized versions of themselves whose friendship is thrown into turmoil when Matthew's mother reveals they might actually be siblings.
Alongside McConaughey and Harrelson, the cast includes Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, Noah Carganilla, Highdee Kuan, Oona Yaffe, and Holland Taylor. You can watch the trailer below…
"Brothers" centers on McConaughey and Harrelson, whose lifelong camaraderie is disrupted when they stumble upon a long-hidden truth: they may indeed be brothers. Following Woody’s daughter's wedding collapse, he gathers his family and travels to Austin for a prolonged stay at Matthew’s ranch. What begins as a restorative retreat quickly turns chaotic when Matthew's mother, Ma Mac (portrayed by Holland Taylor), inadvertently reveals a buried secret suggesting the two might be siblings. As Woody digs deep for the truth, Matthew faces a different kind of upheaval: a potential bid for Governor of Texas. This leads to a heartfelt, tumultuous, and wildly humorous narrative exploring friendship, family, fame, and the complex boundary between myth and reality.
"Brothers" will premiere on Apple TV on September 23rd.
