Sony Pictures has unveiled the complete trailer for Aaron Sorkin’s The Social Reckoning, a companion piece to The Social Network that chronicles Mikey Madison’s character, whistleblower Frances Haugen, as she endeavors to reveal the truth about Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, portrayed this time by Jeremy Strong (Succession).
After 16 years, Sorkin takes over directing from David Fincher and has assembled an impressive cast for The Social Reckoning, including Jeremy Allen White, Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin, Billy Magnussen, and Bill Burr. Check out the trailer below…
“Based on true events and the whistleblower who catalyzed the current social media reckoning, this original screenplay by Aaron Sorkin serves as a companion to the acclaimed film The Social Network and presents a genuine David and Goliath narrative. The Social Reckoning will be released in theaters on October 9th.
