Hiya Toys has released a new figure from the Exquisite Basic Series featuring Godzilla from Godzilla vs. Megaguirus.

      Hiya Toys has announced the latest addition to its Godzilla Exquisite Basic Series with The King of the Monsters as seen in the 2000 film Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. The figure is now available for pre-order, and you can find the official promotional images and details below.

      The 24th installment in the Godzilla franchise, Godzilla vs. Megaguirus (2000), depicts humanity's latest effort to eradicate Godzilla permanently. As part of the "G Extermination Strategy," the G Countermeasures Headquarters develops the Dimension Tide, a weapon designed to create an artificial black hole and banish Godzilla to another dimension. However, a test firing distorts the fabric of space-time, awakening the ancient giant insect Meganulon in the present era. They quickly multiply into swarms of Meganula, absorbing Godzilla’s energy and ultimately leading to the emergence of the formidable monster Megaguirus. This triggers a three-way confrontation between Godzilla, Megaguirus, and humanity in Odaiba, Tokyo.

      The new EXQUISITE BASIC Series Godzilla action figure is crafted to reflect its look in Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. Standing at approximately 18CM tall, it accurately reproduces the rugged skin texture, sharply defined facial features, and layered dorsal fins of the movie suit. The dark gray-green body features purple-pink gradients across the dorsal fins, mimicking the iconic appearance from the film.

      With multiple joints throughout the figure, it allows for a broad range of dynamic poses while preserving its imposing silhouette. The multi-jointed tail facilitates natural movement, and two interchangeable hands provide added posing options to replicate Godzilla's clawing attacks and intense battle stances from the movie.
