HBO will commemorate the 25th anniversary of Band of Brothers with a documentary titled Band of Brothers: Legacy.

      Next week will mark the 25th anniversary of the war drama *Band of Brothers*, which remains one of HBO’s most praised miniseries, and they have now released a trailer for *Band of Brothers: Legacy*. This new documentary includes interviews with the cast and crew, along with previously unreleased footage from the original interviews with the valiant veterans of Easy Company.

      Premiering on September 9, 2001, *Band of Brothers* chronicled the experiences of the 101st Airborne Division and Easy Company as they parachuted into Normandy on D-Day and fought their way across Europe during the final year of World War II. Produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, the series was adapted from Stephen Ambrose’s book of the same title, where he first interviewed the veterans of Easy Company.

      The miniseries featured actors such as Damian Lewis, Ron Livingston, Michael Cudlitz, David Schwimmer, Donnie Wahlberg, Neal McDonough, Dexter Fletcher, James Madio, Dale Dye, and many others. It is also notable for featuring early roles of actors who would later become major stars, including Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Simon Pegg, Tom Hardy, Jamie Bamber, Stephen Graham, and Andrew Scott.

      *Band of Brothers: Legacy* will include new interviews with Lewis, Livingston, Schwimmer, Cudlitz, and additional cast members, discussing the impact of the series and its lasting legacy. It will premiere next week on September 9, exactly 25 years after its original debut on HBO.
