Coinciding with its US premiere this weekend, new promotional materials including a poster, trailer, and images have been released for The Red Mask, a meta-slasher film directed by Ritesh Gupta. Helena Howard plays Allina, an indie screenwriter brought on to reboot a beloved 80s slasher franchise, who secludes herself in a remote cabin to finish her script. However, as her screenplay begins to alter unexpectedly and two masked strangers arrive at her door, she becomes ensnared in the disturbing intersection of homage and reality. The cast also includes Innanna Sarkis, Jake Abel, and Kelli Garner. Watch the trailer below...
