Linda Cardellini en conversaciones para el papel de la Sra. Voorhees en Crystal Lake
A la serie de televisión de Viernes 13 de Peacock y A24, Crystal Lake, no le ha ido mucho mejor que a su homóloga de la gran pantalla cuando se trata de despegar; la serie fue anunciada originalmente en 2022 por el creador de Hannibal, Bryan Fuller, sólo para que la versión de Fuller fuera eliminada - o más bien, macheteada - dos años más tarde en favor de un "retoque" bajo Brad Caleb Kane, showrunner de la próxima serie precuela de It, Welcome to Derry.
Pues bien, unos meses después del nombramiento de Kane, parece que el proyecto podría estar a punto de hacer un casting clave con Jeff Sneider de The Insneider informando de que Linda Cardellini (Scooby-Doo, Dead to Me) está en conversaciones para interpretar a Pamela Voorhees, madre del icónico asesino enmascarado de la franquicia Jason Voorhees - y la asesina original de la serie, interpretada por Betsy Palmer en la película original de 1980.
