      Mentre un uragano si dirige verso il più trafficato centro traumatologico di livello 1 di Miami, il residente del terzo anno, il dottor Danny Simms, viene inaspettatamente spinto in una promozione quando l'amato capo residente, il dottor Xander Phillips, viene sospeso. Tra la tempesta in peggioramento e un assalto di casi di trauma, l'ospedale va in blocco, e Danny e Phillips devono trovare un modo per lavorare insieme – anche se i dettagli bomba di una storia d'amore complicata e illecita tra di loro iniziano a fuoriuscire. Il resto del Pronto soccorso è lasciato a elaborare le ricadute della loro relazione mentre bilanciano le proprie sfide, sia personali che professionali, mentre lavorano sotto la pressione di pali della vita o della morte.       Pulse è stato creato da Zoe Robyn, che sta servendo come showrunner con il creatore di Lost Carlton Cuse. La produzione esecutiva è di Cuse, Kate Dennis, che ha anche diretto i primi due episodi, Bradley Gardner, Emma Forman e Michael Klick.

      Pulse debutterà il 3 aprile.
