As a hurricane approaches Miami’s busiest Level 1 Trauma Center, third-year resident Dr. Danny Simms unexpectedly takes on a promotion when the well-liked Chief Resident Dr. Xander Phillips is suspended. As the storm intensifies and trauma cases flood in, the hospital goes into lockdown, pushing Danny and Phillips to collaborate despite the revealing aspects of their complicated and secret relationship coming to light. Meanwhile, the rest of the ER staff must deal with the repercussions of their relationship while managing their own personal and professional challenges under the pressure of life-or-death situations. For this closely-knit group of doctors, preserving their patients’ lives often proves to be simpler than navigating their own lives.

*Pulse* was created by Zoe Robyn, who is serving as showrunner alongside Carlton Cuse, the creator of *Lost*. The executive producers include Cuse, Kate Dennis, who directed the first two episodes, along with Bradley Gardner, Emma Forman, and Michael Klick.

*Pulse* is set to debut on April 3rd.
