The sci-fi action adventure game Star Overdrive is set to release on Switch this April.

      Caracal Games and publisher Dear Villagers have revealed that their eagerly awaited sci-fi open-world action-adventure game, Star Overdrive, will launch on the Nintendo Switch on April 10th. Players interested in pre-ordering their adventure to an alien realm can do so now and will receive a special DLC along with a 10% discount.       Set on a vast alien planet brimming with a variety of biomes, a mysterious distress signal echoes throughout. Star Overdrive invites players to explore this world and uncover the source of that signal. Utilizing a sleek hoverboard and a mighty Keytar, players will glide across the landscape, explore vibrant settings, unveil hidden secrets, and confront formidable foes.

      With their hoverboards, players can race across extensive terrains and perform various tricks, which can also enhance their combat abilities against the native creatures. They will have the option to combine powers, manipulate the laws of physics, and tackle puzzles in addition to defeating enemies.

      Game features include:

      - Use a Hoverboard to traverse the planet, execute tricks, solve puzzles, and battle foes.

      - Explore four uniquely distinct biomes, each packed with secrets to discover and challenges to face.

      - Engage in battles with creatures of varying sizes, from minor nuisances to massive bosses, each requiring strategy and skill to overcome.

      Pre-orders for Star Overdrive will include the Star Overdrive Pre-Order DLC, which offers a wealth of customization options for the Hoverboard, featuring 6 different styles, 2 designs, and 50 dyes. Remember, there’s also a 10% discount for pre-orders.

      Additionally, a Deluxe Edition of the game will be available, which includes the full game, 3 styles, 1 design, and 50 dyes for the Hoverboard, as well as a digital copy of the soundtrack and a digital comic created by the Caracal Games team that presents a prequel chapter to the game's narrative.
