The erotic thriller Traumnovelle has revealed its trailer, poster, and images.

      Black Mandala has unveiled a poster and trailer for Traumnovelle, an erotic thriller directed by Florian Frerichs, which loosely adapts Arthur Schnitzler’s 1926 novella, Dream Story, a key inspiration for Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut.

      The film features Nikolai Kinski and Laurine Price as Jakob and Amelia, a couple whose marriage feels constricted by unexpressed desires until Jakob uncovers an erotic secret society, leading him to a masked gathering filled with forbidden pleasures and dire consequences.

      Also part of the cast are Nicole Nagel, Nike Martens, Patrick Mölleken, Detlev Buck, Katharina Gerhardt, Rodney Charles, Bruno Eyron, and Nora Islei. Check out the trailer below…

      Jakob and Amelia’s marriage struggles under the weight of unvoiced desires and an increasing sense of emptiness, sustained only by their child, Henny. One evening, Amelia seeks an escape, while Jakob finds himself on a surreal journey filled with temptation and peril—meeting a grieving daughter, descending into a concealed underworld, and receiving an invitation to a masked event of illicit pleasures with harsh repercussions.
