      Amazon MGM Studios has released the first trailer along with a new poster for The Accountant 2, the follow-up to the 2016 action thriller. The film brings back director Gavin O’Connor, along with returning actors Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, J. K. Simmons, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson. In this sequel, Affleck’s character Christian reconnects with his estranged brother Brax (Bernthal) to investigate the murder of an old acquaintance. You can watch the trailer below…

      Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) possesses a knack for solving intricate problems. When an old friend is killed, leaving behind a mysterious message directing him to “find the accountant,” Wolff feels compelled to crack the case. Realizing that he must take more drastic actions, Wolff enlists the help of his estranged but highly skilled brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal). Alongside U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a lethal conspiracy and become targets of a merciless group of killers determined to protect their secrets. The Accountant 2 will be released in theaters on April 25th.
