Kristen Stewart and Alia Shawkat will star in The Wrong Girl.

Kristen Stewart (Love Lies Bleeding) and Alia Shawkat (Blink Twice) are set to star in Dylan Meyer’s feature film debut, The Wrong Girl, which began shooting in Los Angeles last week under Neon.

The film revolves around “Frankie (Stewart) and Molly (Shawkat), codependent best friends who live paycheck to paycheck and bong rip to bong rip, when a case of mistaken identity disrupts their lives.”

Joining the duo are Seth Rogen (Dumb Money), Kumail Nanjiani (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire), LaKeith Stanfield (The Changeling), Zack Fox (Abbott Elementary), and Shawkat’s fellow Arrested Development alum Tony Hale.

Also featured in the film is the Philadelphia punk band Mannequin Pussy, who will contribute their dynamic energy through a live performance at an old Los Angeles DIY venue.

Meyer, who previously penned Moxie starring Hayley Robinson and Amy Poehler, has been engaged to Stewart for the past few years. The Wrong Girl is co-written and produced by Meyer, Stewart, and Maggie McLean for Nevermind Pictures, alongside Rogen and Evan Goldberg for Point Grey.

Production on The Wrong Girl is currently underway.
