Prime Video has released a preview for season 3 of The Wheel of Time, featuring the opening scene and new character posters.
With its premiere just three weeks away, Prime Video has offered fans a first look at the upcoming third season of its fantasy series The Wheel of Time by releasing the first ten minutes of the opening episode. Check it out below, along with a collection of character posters for season three.
Based on Robert Jordan's best-selling fantasy series, The Wheel of Time follows a humble farm boy, Rand al'Thor, who discovers he is The Dragon Reborn—a perilous figure from the past destined to either save or destroy the world. The Wheel of Time continues to turn, and the Last Battle is drawing near.
After defeating Ishamael at the conclusion of Season Two, Rand reunites with his friends at Falme, where he is recognized as the Dragon Reborn. However, in Season Three, dangers to the Light are increasing: the White Tower is fractured, the Black Ajah roams freely, old foes return to the Two Rivers, and the remaining Forsaken are relentlessly pursuing the Dragon, including Lanfear, whose connection with Rand will present a pivotal choice between Light and Dark for them both. As his ties to the past start to unravel and his tainted power intensifies, Rand becomes more unfamiliar to his closest friends, Moiraine and Egwene. These formidable women, who began the series as teacher and student, now must join forces to keep the Dragon from succumbing to the Dark—no matter the cost.
The Wheel of Time features Rosamund Pike as Moiraine Damodred, Daniel Henney as al'Lan Mandragoran, Josha Stradowski as Rand al'Thor, Zoë Robins as Nynaeve al'Meara, Madeleine Madden as Egwene al'Vere, Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara, Dónal Finn as Mat Cauthon, Ceara Coveney as Elayne Trakand, Kate Fleetwood as Leandrin Guirale, Natasha O'Keefe as Lanfear, Ayoola Smart as Aviendha, Kae Alexander as Min Farshaw, Priyanka Bose as Alanna Mosvani, Taylor Napier as Maksim, Hammed Animashaun as Loial, Meera Syal as Verin Mathwin, Jennifer Cheon Garcia as Leane, Johann Myers as Padan Fain, Jay Duffy as Dain Bornhald, Laia Costa as Moghedien, Isabella Bucceri as Faile Bashere, Olivia Williams as Queen Morgase Trakand, and Shohreh Aghdashloo as Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan.
Season 3 of The Wheel of Time premieres on Prime Video on March 13th.
