The trailer and poster for the horror-comedy Max haunted house film, The Parenting, have been released.
Max has released a poster and trailer for The Parenting, an upcoming horror-comedy directed by Craig Johnson (The Skeleton Twins, School Spirits).
The film follows Rohan and Josh, a couple who rent a country home for a weekend getaway to introduce their parents. However, their pleasant retreat takes a sinister twist when they find out that the property is haunted by a 400-year-old poltergeist.
The cast features Nik Dodani, Brandon Flynn, Brian Cox, Edie Falco, Lisa Kudrow, Dean Norris, Parker Posey, and Vivian Bang.
In this hilariously frightening comedy, THE PARENTING depicts Rohan and Josh's efforts to create a perfect weekend in the countryside for their parents' introduction. As tensions rise between the more traditional Sharon and Frank and the relaxed Liddy and Cliff, the families soon uncover that their rental, overseen by the quirky local Brenda, is inhabited by a 400-year-old poltergeist. When one of the parents becomes completely possessed, it falls to the young couple and their intrusive friend Sara to bring the families together and eliminate the malevolent spirit once and for all.
The Parenting debuts on Max on March 13th.
