
In the trailer for Disney's live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch, Ohana continues to signify family.
It’s not surprising that Disney is creating a live-action version of Lilo & Stitch, given the studio's focus on remakes. What truly astonishes fans, however, is how charming and delightful the initial trailer appears.
The much-anticipated new interpretation of the 2002 animated classic has unveiled its first official teaser. It looks wonderful, capturing what fans cherished about the original. From the bond between the sisters to the antics of the titular alien, all elements are vividly portrayed in Disney’s upcoming film.
Lilo & Stitch stars newcomer Maia Kealoha, along with Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis. Take a look at the trailer below…
“Lilo & Stitch” tells the funny and heartfelt story of a lonely girl from Hawaii and the fugitive alien who helps repair her fractured family. Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Dean Fleischer Camp, the screenplay is written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes. The film features Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, along with Courtney B. Vance and Zach Galifianakis, and introduces Maia Kealoha. Produced by Jonathan Eirich, p.g.a. and Dan Lin, the film has Tom Peitzman, Ryan Halprin, Louie Provost, and Thomas Schumacher as executive producers.
Lilo & Stitch is scheduled to hit theaters on May 23, 2025.
