As the May premiere approaches, AMC has released a new trailer for the second season of the zombie drama spinoff series The Walking Dead: Dead City, offering another glimpse into the ongoing conflict for Manhattan. It also features a surprising moment with Maggie using Negan’s baseball bat, Lucille; take a look below.
The Walking Dead: Dead City centers on beloved characters Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) as they navigate a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, which has been isolated from the mainland. The dilapidated city is overrun with the undead and survivors who have transformed New York City into a chaotic realm filled with peril, beauty, and horror. In Season 2, amidst the escalating struggle for Manhattan, Maggie and Negan find themselves on opposing sides. As their stories converge, they realize that their escape is far more complex and terrifying than they had anticipated.
The second season of The Walking Dead: Dead City is set to premiere on May 4th, 2025.
