Uncork’d Entertainment has released a trailer, poster, and images for the sci-fi horror film Wellwood, directed by Eliza Hooper. The movie centers on Nick's desperate quest to save his terminally ill wife, Laura, as he uncovers an extraterrestrial being he believes can heal her. The cast features Camille Balsamo-Gillis, Reid Collums, Keisha Castle-Hughes, and Lance E. Nichols. Check out the trailer below...
When Laura Harper (Camille Balsamo-Gillis) receives a terminal diagnosis, her husband Nick (Reid Collums) becomes increasingly desperate to find a way to save her. His search leads him to an extraterrestrial entity he thinks may possess the cure. However, their actions soon draw the scrutiny of local authorities, including the observant Deputy Gracie Marsh (Keisha Castle-Hughes) and the town's determined Sheriff Bradley (Lance E. Nichols). As the couple’s decisions take unexpected turns, they become embroiled in a series of consequences they can't control.
Wellwood will be available digitally on April 1st.
